i'm gonna be honest with you, i only skimmed a couple of posts but haven't done a full deep dive into any of them so you're gonna have to go into a bit more detail

Before the Flock, we were sheltered by a family known as the Balfours.
Their estate, Saltburnt, is not far from here, through the woods.
All previous attempts to leave the grounds resulted in incapacitation.
Then the manor was set aflame and somehow that barrier lifted.
What may exist beyond the commune ... none can say.
