How this debt is owed? I believe it at Lord Set's word that one dear to me lives again. How his murderer will atone? In ways myriad as the sands your companion and I are both birthed from. Suffice it to say: I believe the cage too good for those I hunt. I would see them suffer as they have caused suffering. My powers are absent as well, for a time. I am willing to wait for this justice to pass. I have others who I ally with. Have you a suspect to name?

None yet. It seems they seek to play tricks this round in hopes we might not uncover them. When I'm certain of a name, I'll make it known. May I ask, what did you feel under this spell in the last game? I'm not interested in exoneration, only the truth of such a compulsion.

I mislike waiting, but I am quite good at it. I shan't make a peep until given the word. I would advise, though, my loyalties remain to a few -- Alina, Homelander, Gale. Caroline and Roza are dear as well, and I would not see them harmed. Still, I do not think any of them suspect. I will give it, then: I felt nothing. Even now, I have no memory of the acts I committed. Jace himself had to recount them to me, under my compulsion. They were abomination to me, to use a sacred place such as the lake to cause death. He believes himself to be culpable, given his relationship to Paul and his skill with a knife, yes. Still, I would not see him suffer the humiliation of these prisons. My own dignity is not a concern. And know this, Alia: if I thought him responsible, I would not ask you to shield him from accusation.

Have you? Sweet Roza, she has been the topic of many requests. I know my heart's desire, but I would be most content with Set upon the board once more, as a formidable ally. He would not try to dissuade me as Paul might. If they bear me ill will, they did not act upon it. [therefore it doesn't register to her. alia doesn't care about feelings.] I have the forgiveness and high regard of Alicent, still, as is my priority. Do you ask because you mean to seek vengeance, once the games end and the killers are unmasked?

[she considers this for a moment, thoughtfully.] I am not convinced of his guilt. A knife is a tool, not a weapon, for him. But if he is accused, I will stand beside him. And if he is unmasked, I will resolve that once the games complete and my debts are paid.
