( shanks might have gotten something, but it's still too early for him to tell how exactly this is all going to play out and he is, of course, notorious for simply keeping a watchful eye on all the pieces in play and staying out of things until he feels it's absolutely necessary. besides, this should be luffy's time to shine as a captain and shanks isn't going to overshadow that. so: )
